The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey Tilt Rotor Aircraft transmission interconnect shaft, Connecting both engine transmission with each other. That's pretty cool thing in case one engine fails in whatever way. The power of one engine is, as usual for multi-engine turbo props, enough for keeping it in air and for landing safely in Regular Aircraft mode. But it is not enough VOR tilting the engines more than 45 degree or even for hovering.
For V-22 that is a big issue as the rotors are, in horizontal position, far higher than the aircraft's hull and gear.
According to that, an engine failure will most likely be survivable for the crew but the aircraft will definitely be destroyed, as the huge propellers will break and destroy the hull.
